Silver Spring Township

Organized as a township in 1757, it is bordered on the western and northern boundaries by the Appalachian Trail and is traversed by three major streams: the Conodoguinet Creek, Hogestown Run, and Trindle Spring Run. The township contains 232 acres of parkland.
