Hikers of all ages and abilities will love exploring our trails! Spend an hour wandering down an easy loop or opt for a day-long hike that connects to Michaux State Forest's extensive trail system. Trails are open to the public, dog-friendly and free of charge. Not a hiker? No problem! Meet the live animals in our nature center, including turtles, snakes and a barred owl. Play in the cool waters of Swamp and Middle Creeks, or explore our nature playground. Restrooms (with composting toilets!), picnic tables, a pavilion and potable water are available on-site. Check our website and Facebook page for community events, summer camps and public programs!
Trail Hours: Dawn to Dusk, 7 Days a Week. Trail maps are available at the kiosk or online.
Nature Center Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm
Groups: Environmental education programs are available for private groups! Reservations required, please call for details.

- Notes: The Nature Center & Office are open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. The trails are open 7 days a week from dawn until dusk.
