details
The Pennsylvania Military Museum recounts the story of Commonwealth citizens from all service branches who defended our country. Their service is highlighted through exhibits containing a superb collection of vehicles and small arms as well as a range of other artifacts. The Museum also hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year including memorial services, veterans reunions, living history encampments, and a lecture series. Located in Boalsburg, PA, on the grounds of the Pennsylvania National Guards' 28th Division Infantry Shrine, the Museum is a scenic 90-minute drive from Cumberland Valley. While visiting, guests can also enjoy the Boalsburg Heritage Museum, the Columbus Chapel and Boal Mansion Museum, and the village of Boalsburg, with a delightful array of shops and restaurants. Penn State University, in State College, is a five-minute drive.
