VISITORS GUIDE
The Pennsylvania State Archives, located adjacent to the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, includes 78,000 cubic feet of research materials and 30,000 rolls of microfilm containing the historical public records of the Commonwealth as well as select private papers relevant to Pennsylvania history. Materials include state land records, transportation and industrial records, ethnic and minority history, and genealogical resources. Admission is free and no appointment is required except when accessing special media or unprocessed/restricted holdings. The archives is located on the southeast corner of Third and Foster Streets. Enter at the art deco gates facing Third Street.
