US Army War College

The U.S. Army War College was founded in 1901 and relocated to the Carlisle Barracks in 1951.

The US Army War College educates and develops leaders for service at the strategic level while advancing knowledge in the global application of Landpower. Graduates (from all service branches) are skilled critical thinkers and complex problem solvers in the global application of Landpower who participate at the strategic level worldwide.
