Carlisle's Ice Art Fest is back for 2025!
The Ice Art Fest, a dazzling display in Downtown Carlisle, begins on Friday, January 31, at 5 p.m. and continues until Sunday, February 2, at 3 p.m. Sponsored by UPMC, the event promises to be an icy spectacle with over 100 ice sculptures.
The event starts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Veterans Square (Hanover & High Streets) on Friday at 5 pm. Attendees can marvel at and sit on the UPMC Royal Ice Throne on The Square, sip libations at the stunning Ice Bar hosted by Comfort Suites/1794 Whiskey Rebellion, or stroll the streets to view the sculptures. Live ice sculpture carvings will occur at the Square beside the Old Courthouse on Saturday at 11 am and 1 pm.
Many downtown merchants will offer extended hours with special activities, live music, and more. Marjorie's Gems hosts their annual and popular Diamond Dig. Family and friends can also enjoy scenic carriage rides from Benchfield Farms throughout the weekend.
This festival guarantees a wintry wonderland experience for all. We’ve put together a weekend itinerary to help you make the most of the festival while enjoying other winter activities and delights Carlisle offers.
