Carlisle's Ice Art Fest

produced by Downtown Carlisle Association/

February 4-6, 2022

Spend a magical winter weekend in historic downtown Carlisle. You'll find plenty of photo opportunities among the almost 90 ice sculptures located along the streets in downtown Carlisle as well as in the Sculpture Garden on Pitt Street next to the Cumberland County Historical Society. Downtown businesses will be offering special activities, discounts, music, and more. Come explore the town and see all that it has to offer.

The event will kick off with a ribbon-cutting at 5:00 p.m. on Feb. 4 at Veterans Courtyard. Activities run through Sunday, Feb. 6 at 3:00 p.m.

Back this year is the UPMC Ice Throne to make everyone feel like royalty as they sit and have their photo taken. The always popular Ice Bar at the Comfort Suites will be open at 5:00 pm serving both cold drinks and hot toddies for the weekend.

Once you’ve sat on the Ice Throne and had a drink at the Ice Bar, be sure to purchase a raffle ticket for your chance to win a .89 ctw diamond ring at Marjorie’s Gems Diamond Dig! Marjorie’s Gems, located at 44 S Hanover Street, will be selling just 100 tickets at $20 each for your chance to win this special diamond ring, set in platinum. Dating from the late ’30s to early ’40s, this special ring is just in time for Valentine’s Day giving! The purchase of a ticket comes not only a chance to win but a 10% off coupon toward one purchase through April 15, 2022. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 4 at noon with the winner being awarded on Sunday, Feb. 6 at 2 PM.

Horse and carriage rides from Benchfield Farms will be offered throughout the weekend starting on Friday, Feb. 4 from 5-9 PM. Saturday times are noon-8 PM and Sunday 10 AM-3 PM. Reservations are highly recommended but not required! To reserve your date/time please contact Traci by phone or text at 717-448-8464 or email
