Things to Do in Mt. Holly Springs PA

This small town, nestled in the gap of the south mountains of Cumberland Valley by Mountain Creek, is a 10-minute drive from Carlisle and offers affordable restaurants, outdoor recreation, history, and a collection of shops. Enjoy casual indoor and outdoor dining at Cassell's Grille or stop by Three Pines Tavern for some of the best wings around. Hike on the trails at Mt. Holly Marsh Preserve or fish along Mountain Creek. Precision Fly Fishing & Tackle has everything you need for your fishing excursion. They also offer classes throughout the year. Little ones will appreciate the wide-open spaces and playground area at Trine Park. And the historic Mt. Tabor AME Zion Church was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places and received funding for restoration. While not yet open to the public, the Mount Tabor Preservation Project looks forward to telling the story of this important piece of African-American history. Finally, don't forget a quick shopping excursion at The Whimsical Poppy and several nearby antique stores.
