Make it a Weekend

The Comfort Suites Hotel offers guests the perfect opportunity to walk around downtown Carlisle to shops, restaurants and nightlife opportunities, as well as complimentary breakfast.

Start your day by taking a behind-the-scenes tour of the world's largest gourd crafting company. Featured on Dirty Jobs, Meadowbrooke Gourds offers a unique selection of painted and sculpted gourds for every season. Enjoy the retail store, and even paint your own birdhouse, bowl or Christmas ornament.

Next, enjoy a class and lunch at Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses. Here, you will take one of their fun hands-on crafting classes.  Visit the deli for an array of tasty meal options including soups, wraps, quiche and comfort food favorites.
