Negley Park in Lemoyne offers stunning views of the Harrisburg skyline, and thanks to a newly donated viewfinder the best view of the River Valley as well. The park also features hiking and walking trails and places to host softball, baseball, basketball and tennis events. Speaking of places to enjoy the outdoors, Lemoyne is also home to Memorial Park. The whole family will enjoy swimming at the pool, playing on the playground, or relaxing at the pavilion. If you enjoy the outdoors, Lemoyne is also a great spot for biking

While you're in town, shop local at the two-story West Shore Farmers Market & Shoppes in Lemoyne. They have everything from the freshest produce, meats and ready-to-eat foods to jewelry, clothing, antiques and more at their 60,000 square foot space. The downstairs offers all the fresh produce, meats, cheeses and other delectable goodies, while the upstairs offers boutique shops. Find an assortment of jewelry and other accessories at Higashi Pearls & Fine Jewelry, designer clothes at Sassy, funky accessories and gifts at Susan's Treasures and more at the other upstairs shops.

  • Lemoyne is a relatively new name for this old town. It was called, "Bridgeport" until it was incorporated as a borough in May of 1905.
  • Fort Couch and the General Couch Monument contain the remains of an outpost built in June 1863.
