Shop Hops introduces quilting and sewing enthusiasts to participating stores. They are also a way for stores to showcase their unique personalities, offerings, and talents to new and returning customers. Besides visiting sewing stores, Shop Hoppers also enjoy traveling through large and small towns, discovering parts of the state they may have never visited before.
More than 90 Mid-Atlantic stores will host Shop Hoppers in July and August 2024. The All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine, which serves as a guide and passport, goes on sale at participating stores in mid-May 2024. The cost is $11.95.
In Cumberland Valley, Half Moon Handwerks in Camp Hill (1104 Carlisle Road) and The Fabric Center in Carlisle (41 W. Pomfret Street) are participating locations in this year’s Shop Hop. Half Moon Handwerks' business hours during the event are Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, plus Sunday, July 22, and Sunday, August 4, from 12 pm to 5 pm.
The Fabric Center is open from 10 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday and 10 am to 7 pm on Thursday.
