Jubilee Day

Jubilee Day has been canceled for 2021. "We appreciate all that participate in Jubilee Day every year, so we will work to start planning for the 2022 edition," according to Jeff Palm, executive director of the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce. Next year's event is scheduled for June 16, 2022.

Jubilee Day, held on the third Thursday of June, is the largest, longest-running one-day street fair on the East Coast, attracting up to 70,000 attendees. Kick-off the summer at this annual event which takes place along the streets of downtown Mechanicsburg and features more than 325 vendors from near and far offering food, games, arts & crafts, business information, retail products, carnival rides, and more. There is a Children's Area with activities for the very young, and live entertainment on two stages.

Visitors can stroll among the vendor stands to find unique items for sale and savor the flavor of delicious foods such as funnel cakes, crab cake sandwiches, sirloin sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream, and more. Mechanicsburg's welcoming storefronts also encourage visitors to step inside and check out their great products. In between carnival rides, kids can enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos, and a petting zoo.

While you’re here for Jubilee Day, plan a Weekend Easy getaway. Take a hike, make a stop or two along our Beer Trail, or find out why Cumberland Valley is consistently voted one of the Top 10 towns in America for craft lovers by American Craft Week.
