Jubilee Day

June 20, 2024

Jubilee Day, held on the third Thursday of June, is the largest, longest-running one-day street fair on the East Coast, attracting up to 70,000 attendees. Kick off the summer at this annual event, which takes place along the streets of downtown Mechanicsburg and features more than 325 vendors from near and far, offering food, games, arts & crafts, business information, retail products, and more. There is a Children's Area with activities for the very young and live entertainment on two stages.

Visitors can stroll among the vendor stands to find unique items for sale and savor the flavor of delicious foods such as funnel cakes, crab cake sandwiches, sirloin sandwiches, smoothies, ice cream, and more. Mechanicsburg's welcoming storefronts also encourage visitors to step inside and check out their great products. In between the food and fun, kids can enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos, and a petting zoo.

The festival takes place on Main Street from York Street to Walnut Street and on Market Street from Simpson Street to Strawberry Avenue. A festival map will be posted on the event website in late May.

Due to the large crowds and safety concerns, pets and bicycles are NOT allowed.

A FREE shuttle bus service will be offered from two convenient locations: Mechanicsburg High School, 500 Broad Street, and Immanuel Church, 800 South Market Street. The service runs from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Attendees will be dropped off at the Simpson and Market Streets corner.

While you’re here for Jubilee Day, plan a Weekend Easy getaway. Take a hike, make a stop or two along our Beer Trail, or find out why Cumberland Valley is consistently voted one of the Top 10 towns in America for craft lovers by American Craft Week.

Jubilee Day is organized by the Mechanicsburg Chamber of Commerce. Please contact them directly at 717-796-0811 or email jubileeday@mechanicsburgchamber.org with any questions.
