We’re now accepting nominations for our Annual Awards, honoring individuals and organizations that go above and beyond to advance progress, collaboration, and opportunity in Cumberland County. Nominations are open until February 24.
For almost 50 years, Carlisle Summerfair has provided a community-wide celebration featuring a variety of free, family-friendly events. Taking place at the end of June and beginning of July, this annual event features activities such as open pool nights, concerts, a craft show, a fishing derby, sporting events, and more.
While you’re visiting for Summerfair, plan a weekend getaway. There's plenty to do to keep you busy. From delicious food and delightful beverages to charming downtowns and off-the-beaten-path hiking destinations, Cumberland Valley has something for everyone.
