Boating in Cumberland Valley

The Cumberland Valley PA's boating opportunities will allow you to discover river trails, lakes, and creeks. Take on the Susquehanna River by kayak or canoe, or enjoy the calming waters of Children's Lake by shallow-draft or electric motorboat. Don't have your own boat? No need to worry! You can rent one at Susquehanna Outfitters or Blue Mountain Outfitters.

TIP

Be sure to check boating rules and regulations on the PA Fish and Boat Commission's website before your trip. Unpowered boats such as canoes and kayaks used at Commission lakes or access areas and PA state parks and forests must be properly registered, or display an official and valid Commission permit, or display an official and valid watercraft launch or mooring permit issued by DCNR.
